West Ham striker Michail Antonio, known for his playful banter with Liverpool supporters, has once again taken a light-hearted jab by predicting that Liverpool will lose to Bournemouth.

Considered a cheeky antagonist by Kopites, Antonio previously foresaw West Ham finishing above Liverpool in the Premier League, only to witness a 3-1 loss at Anfield in September, where he missed a golden opportunity to score.

Continuing his banter on the Footballers' Football Podcast, Antonio openly declared his desire for Liverpool, currently leading the Premier League, not to win the title. He explained, "I do not want Liverpool to win the league because of these fans. They have been in my comments and all over my social media. It has been 10 times worse since I said it."

Despite acknowledging Liverpool's top position, Antonio humorously announced a season-long "war" with Liverpool fans, expressing his support for other teams until the season concludes. He added, "Until this season ends, I am against you and want others to win. I had a soft spot for Liverpool over the last couple of years, but this year we ain't friends."

As Liverpool prepares to face AFC Bournemouth, the Reds are favored to win, although Bournemouth has won seven of their last nine matches. Antonio playfully predicted a 1-0 victory for Bournemouth, with former Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke scoring.

In contrast, Antonio's podcast partner, Newcastle United striker Callum Wilson, anticipates a Liverpool triumph despite his history as a former Bournemouth player. Wilson stated, “Being a footballing person, realistically, I think the way Liverpool are playing it will be a tight game because Bournemouth are doing well but it’s going to be 2-1 to Liverpool."
